Trench House refers to our way of presenting House music in a Techno format, getting people to listen to Techno without even realizing it.
Influenced by the likes of Jeff Mills, we also like using the term to refer to what we’re trying to display and present to the world, along with a “renaissance” of 90s Dance Music under a new, faster format.
Our mixes usually showcase sped up House & Garage cuts, seemlessly blending in with Techno, Footwork and Ghetto House tracks.
When in production, we’ve used this term to refer to low-quality, crushed, techno cuts, but it’s more of a sentiment rather than a genre. I’ve personally also used the term for my own take on French House, implementing Speed Garage drums over bitcrushed soul loops. (example: Black Satin off Maison Music)
